Mary Anning

Mary Anning was a British 18th century Palaeontologist, who discovered two different dinosaurs, the Ichthyosaur and Plesiosaur in Lyme Regis, Dorset.

I created this work in for the Dorset based charity Mary Anning Rocks, in the first nationwide campaign to gain noriety for the often unknown female British scientist and her amazing discoveries. 

These images were used for their promotional material as well as sold as prints in an exhibition in The Gallery at  Arts University Bournemouth to raise money for their cause; to erect a statue of Mary Anning in her home county of Dorset.
